About the Role
We are seeking an IT Support Specialist / System Administrator / Helpdesk Executive for a full-time remote role. You will provide technical support, manage user accounts, maintain network and system performance, and handle help desk tickets.

Responsibilities
- Provide timely technical support to team members, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues on desktop computers and peripherals
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access within core systems
- Monitor and maintain network and system performance, install updates and patches, and ensure data backup and basic security practices are followed
- Handle help desk tickets, document solutions, collaborate with vendors as needed, and proactively identify opportunities to improve IT processes and user experience
Requirements
- Technical Support and Help Desk Support skills to assist users, manage support tickets, and deliver clear, customer focused solutions
- Troubleshooting and Desktop Computers skills to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues across multiple platforms
- Information Technology knowledge to support operating systems, basic networking, cloud tools, and common business applications
- Experience with user account management, system administration tasks, and routine maintenance in a small to medium business environment
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Familiarity with security best practices, data backup procedures, and incident documentation
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft or similar) are beneficial
