Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced **IT Support Specialist** to provide onsite technical support and manage the company's IT operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling software and hardware support tickets, coordinating with IT vendors, managing subscriptions and licenses, and ensuring the smooth operation of all IT infrastructure and business applications.
The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills, experience supporting educational platforms such as Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Student Information Systems (SIS), and excellent proficiency in using AI tools such as ChatGPT to improve productivity and support processes.
Technical Support
- Provide onsite IT support for end users.
- Resolve hardware, software, network, and application-related issues.
- Manage and close IT support tickets within agreed service levels.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and related services.
- Support Adobe products and licensing management.
- Assist users with email, file sharing, collaboration, and productivity tools.
Systems & Applications
- Support and maintain Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Support and maintain Student Information Systems (SIS).
- Assist with website administration, monitoring, and coordination with web vendors.
- Support domain management, DNS records, email domains, and related services.
Vendor & Subscription Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT vendors and service providers.
- Monitor and manage annual subscriptions, licenses, renewals, and warranties.
- Track contract expiration dates and coordinate timely renewals.
- Evaluate vendor performance and ensure service delivery commitments are met.
Infrastructure Management
- Monitor the health and lifecycle of the company's IT infrastructure.
- Maintain inventory of IT assets and equipment.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and upgrades.
- Ensure proper documentation of IT systems, licenses, and support activities.
Ai & Productivity Tools
- Utilize ChatGPT and other AI tools to enhance troubleshooting, documentation, user support, and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain AI-assisted workflows for IT operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on IT support experience.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Microsoft Windows
• Microsoft 365 Administration
- Active Directory
- Hardware and software troubleshooting
- Domain and DNS management
- Website support and administration
- Adobe products and licensing
- Network fundamentals
- Experience supporting:
• Student Information Systems (SIS)
- Strong understanding of software licensing and subscription management.
- Experience working with external IT vendors and service providers.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Strong proficiency in ChatGPT and AI-powered productivity tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft certifications (Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Administration).
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Experience in educational institutions, universities, or training organizations.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and cybersecurity best practices.
