Position Summary

Ramtech EG LLC is seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and support for hardware, software, and network systems across the organization.

The ideal candidate will ensure smooth IT operations, minimize downtime, and support end-users with efficient and timely solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and IT equipment.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory and other systems.
  • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and internet connectivity.
  • Respond to helpdesk tickets and ensure proper documentation of issues and resolutions.
  • Support email systems, cloud services, and business applications.
  • Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups.
  • Assist in IT asset management and inventory control.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices.
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users when required.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in IT support or technical helpdesk role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking (LAN/WAN).
  • Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, email systems (e.g., Outlook/Exchange), and remote support tools.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with ERP systems or business applications.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure).
  • IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications.
