Responsibilities
- Provide day to day technical assistance to internal users, focusing on desktop and peripheral support
- Respond to support tickets, diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
- Install and configure desktop systems
- Maintain printers and related devices
- Document incidents and solutions
- Escalate complex issues when needed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure stable and secure IT operations
- Communicate clearly with users, proactively monitor equipment, and adhere to company IT policies and procedures
Requirements
- Strong technical support and troubleshooting skills
- Solid understanding of core information technology concepts, including operating systems, basic networking, and security best practices
- Hands on experience with desktop computers, including installation, configuration, and routine maintenance
- Practical experience in printer support, covering setup, driver installation, connectivity, and common fault resolution
- Relevant certification or coursework (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL fundamentals, or equivalent) is beneficial
- Ability to communicate technical information in a clear and user friendly way and provide courteous customer service
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple support requests in a part time schedule
- Previous experience in a hybrid or on site IT support environment and familiarity with ticketing systems is an advantage
