Role Description

  • The IT Support Officer is a part time, hybrid role based in Dubai, with flexibility for some work from home arrangements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily technical support to staff, including diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers and related peripherals, ensuring systems are secure and performing optimally.
  • Manage printer support, address connectivity and performance problems, and escalate issues to external vendors or senior IT resources when necessary.
  • Maintain documentation of support requests, update asset inventories, and contribute to continuous improvement of IT processes and user experience.

Qualifications

  • Strong technical support skills with experience in frontline user assistance and incident resolution.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and basic network issues.
  • Solid understanding of information technology fundamentals, including operating systems and security best practices.
  • Hands on experience managing desktop computers, laptops, and related peripherals.
  • Practical skills in printer support, including installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in clear, accessible language.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently in a hybrid environment, and manage time effectively.
  • Relevant diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation) are an advantage.
  • Previous experience in real estate or professional services environments is beneficial but not required.
