Job Overview

  • We are looking for a motivated and customer focused IT Support Officer to join our IT team.
  • In this role, you will provide first line technical support, assist users with hardware and software issues, and help ensure the smooth operation of the organization's IT systems and infrastructure.
  • This position is ideal for fresh graduates and junior professionals who are passionate about technology, problem solving, and delivering excellent user support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first level technical support for hardware, software, network, and system related issues.
  • Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, chat, or ticketing systems in a timely and professional manner.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve common IT issues, escalating complex problems when necessary.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Assist with software installations, updates, and system configurations.
  • Manage user accounts, password resets, and access permissions.
  • Monitor and update support tickets to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, solutions, and support activities.
  • Assist with routine IT maintenance, upgrades, and deployments.
  • Support IT documentation and contribute to the knowledge base for common issues and solutions.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and computer hardware.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, Wi Fi, VPN, and internet connectivity.
  • Familiarity with help desk or ticketing systems is an advantage.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Internship, customer service, or IT support experience is a plus but not required.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
