Role Description
The role supports the service desk and wider IT support function through technical troubleshooting, cyber security incident handling, and on-site IT environment configuration.
The engineer is expected to work across international teams, take initiative in fast-moving environments, and uphold security-first support principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide second-line IT support and escalation handling for users in the UK and UAE.
- Use ITSM tools such as Halo.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and Microsoft 365 issues.
- Administer Microsoft Intune, including device enrollment and compliance.
- Support onboarding, offboarding, email configuration, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Troubleshoot issues through video calls and telephone support.
- Configure on-site wired and wireless networks, including Wi-Fi and firewalls.
- Respond to and escalate cyber security incidents with the SOC team.
