About the Role
ZAYED CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT FOR AUDITING is seeking an IT Support Engineer to provide technical support, maintain IT infrastructure, and resolve hardware/software/network issues. Requires 3+ years experience in UAE, ITIL 4 certification preferred, and hands-on skills with Active Directory, GPO, and server backups.

Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and provide technical support for hardware, software, and network related issues
- Set up and maintain computer systems, printers, peripherals, and other IT equipment
- Diagnose and resolve technical incidents, escalating complex issues to relevant teams when necessary
- Respond promptly to support requests, ensuring a high level of user satisfaction
- Support staff in adopting AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude or similar) for daily tasks
- Maintain accurate and up to date documentation of IT assets, configurations, network diagrams, and system setups
- Manage and maintain on premises servers, including regular monitoring, patching, and performance checks
- Perform regular maintenance, cleaning, and firmware/software updates on biometric devices
- Perform server backups and restorations using Windows Server Backup (wbadmin) to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery readiness
- Create, manage, and maintain Active Directory users, groups, and organizational units (OUs)
- Configure and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enforce security, access, and system settings across the network
- Stay updated on the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in IT support
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as an IT Support Engineer/Executive or similar role in the UAE
- ITIL 4 certification (preferred)
- Hands on experience troubleshooting hardware components such as desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Familiarity with ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management
- Customer focused attitude with a passion for delivering high quality support services
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
