Role overview
Provide technical support and resolve hardware, software, and network issues through multiple communication channels.
Report to the IT Service Desk Lead within the Information Technology department.
Responsibilities
- Resolve and document customer IT issues through ticketing systems, email, phone, and in-person support.
- Troubleshoot networks, computers, mobile devices, printers, hardware and software installations, and enterprise tools.
- Maintain IT asset records, hardware and software inventories, and Knowledge Base documentation.
- Analyze support metrics and recommend improvements to IT support workflows.
- Implement technologies, document procedures, support system analysis and upgrades, and monitor emerging IT trends.
Requirements
- IT Technical Diploma or equivalent relevant education is required.
- At least two years of experience in a similar IT support or technical role is required.
- Strong technical expertise, current IT and information systems knowledge, and effective problem-solving are required.
- Microsoft certifications are relevant, or equivalent experience may be accepted.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and collaborative teamwork are required.
- Employment is conditional on successfully completing a criminal background check.
