Role Overview
A medical diagnostic centre in Sharjah is seeking an IT professional to own and support the technology backbone across its branches.
The role covers infrastructure, clinical imaging systems, network administration, end-user support, vendors, and healthcare data protection.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 1–2 years of experience.
- Hands-on RIS/PACS experience in healthcare or diagnostic imaging is strongly preferred.
- Solid Windows Server, networking, and virtualization background.
- MCSE, CCNA, ITIL, or VMware certifications are advantageous.
- Available to join immediately and willing to support after-hours and on-call requirements.
Infrastructure and Data Center
- Maintain server hardware, data storage, switching, routing, backups, email, firewalls, spam filtering, mobile devices, network monitoring, and Microsoft technologies.
- Manage servers, virtualization, racks, power, UPS, cooling, and physical security in the on-premise data center.
- Manage SAN and NAS storage, capacity planning, medical image archiving, and retention.
- Perform backups and disaster recovery, including regular restore testing.
- Maintain network hardware and respond to emergency network outages.
