Arabian Engineering Centre is seeking a skilled and proactive
It Specialist (Support)
to manage day-to-day IT operations, provide technical support, and maintain stable and secure IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide
- technical support
- for hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Manage and maintain
- network infrastructure
(Lan And Wan)
- Configure and troubleshoot
- VPN connections (site-to-site & remote access)
- Handle
- Fortinet firewall configuration and monitoring
- Administer
- Microsoft environments
- (Microsoft 365, Active Directory, user management)
- Install, configure, and maintain
- IT equipment
- (PCs, laptops, printers, etc.)
- Monitor system performance and ensure
- security best practices
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers when required
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Strong understanding of
- networking fundamentals
(TCP And IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
- Hands-on experience with
Fortinet (Fortigate)
- or similar firewall solutions
- Experience in
- VPN setup and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of
- Microsoft administration
- (M365, Windows Server, user policies)
- Solid background in
- hardware & software troubleshooting
- Basic understanding of
- IT security practices
- (antivirus, backup, access control)
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as
- CCNA, Fortinet NSE, or Microsoft certifications
- are a plus
- Experience in a
- corporate or multi-site environment
- is preferred
