About The Role
Asghar Furniture is seeking a highly capable IT Specialist to oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of our IT environment.
This role will provide comprehensive technical support while ensuring the availability, security, and performance of our hardware, software, networks, and business systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and troubleshoot networks, VPNs, routers, and firewalls
- Install and maintain computers, software, and operating systems
- Provide IT support and resolve user technical issues
- Maintain data security, antivirus, and backup systems
- Manage IT hardware, software, and inventory
- Support system upgrades, deployments, and IT projects
- Prepare IT documentation and train staff
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of IT experience
- Strong knowledge of networking and IT infrastructure
- Knowledge of Windows, macOS, Linux & Microsoft Office
- Understanding of IT security, backups, and firewalls
- Familiarity with cloud services and virtualization
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- IT certifications such as A+, Network+, CCNA, or Microsoft are an advantage
