Job Overview
- The IT Project Manager is responsible for managing, coordinating, and monitoring a portfolio of IT projects from initiation through closure, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards while aligning with organizational objectives and strategic plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage assigned IT projects in accordance with established project management methodologies and governance frameworks.
- Ensure successful project delivery by meeting agreed objectives, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with business units, IT teams, vendors, and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross functional teams to ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and service commitments.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project charters, plans, status reports, risk registers, and closure reports.
- Provide regular project updates and progress reports to management and stakeholders.
- Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and stakeholder discussions to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
- Resolve project related challenges and escalate issues where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, governance requirements, security standards, and audit requirements.
