The employer is recruiting an experienced IT Project Manager for Qatar operations.
The role focuses on banking technology, cards, payments, and complex IT project delivery.
The position coordinates business, IT, vendor, card-scheme, compliance, and internal stakeholders.
Experience and Certification Requirements
- 8-10 years of IT project management experience, preferably in banking, financial services, cards, payments, or digital banking.
- Experience managing end-to-end IT project delivery, including planning, execution, monitoring, risk management, stakeholder coordination, vendor management, and closure.
- Experience in structured governance environments with documentation, reporting, escalation, and change control practices.
- PMP certification is required or strongly preferred.
Cards and Banking Domain Knowledge
- Knowledge of tokenization, PCI DSS, ePayments, digital wallets, and payment processing flows.
- Knowledge of card schemes, certifications, mandates, and compliance requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management, vendor coordination, communication, analytical, planning, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Ability to manage risks, issues, dependencies, change requests, and escalations.
- Ability to communicate with senior management, business stakeholders, technology teams, and external partners.
Joining Timeframe
- Expected joining timeframe is two weeks, with a maximum of one month.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of complex IT projects across cards, payments, ePayments, digital wallets, and related banking technology initiatives.
- Coordinate business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, card schemes, compliance teams, and other internal stakeholders.
- Plan, execute, monitor, and close projects within agreed scope, timelines, budget, quality, and governance standards.
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, change requests, and escalations.
- Coordinate vendors and cross-functional teams in banking IT environments.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, reporting, governance records, and escalation materials.
- Communicate project status, risks, decisions, and delivery matters to senior management, business stakeholders, technology teams, and external partners.
