IT Program Manager – Engineering Systems (MI, Troy)

The role of the IT Program Manager is to ensure that solutions designed and developed by Delphi IT are implemented in a timely and cost effective manner.

This includes managing the deployment, implementation, and post-implementation effectiveness of solutions through SLAs and other key performance metrics.

This position is also the point of contact for all suppliers relative to all issues with specific projects assigned to the program manager.

This includes the identification of the issues and the management of their resolution.

The IT Program Manager also monitors solution delivery for assurance that all Delphi standards, including change management, are being adhered to.

Delphi Divisional/Functional based projects will require the program manager to work closely with Divisional/Functional IT teams.

The ITE is ultimately accountable to the Division/Function for the success of the project and will provide additional direction to the program manager for the duration of the project.

The IT Program Manager reports directly to the Regional Program Management Lead who in turn reports to the VP IT Global ERP & Solution Delivery.

S/he also has a direct line with the Engineering IT COE leaders to provide project status updates and ensure that COE recommendations and direction are provided during the lifecycle of the project.

Primary responsibilities of this position are related to the management of solutions delivered and utilized within the Delphi organization.

Some of the specific responsibilities of this role include:

• Managing all program suppliers to deliver on time, on budget, according to defined quality criteria and according to the Delphi Project Delivery Process
• Directly accountable for the successful deployment of this program (quality, cost, milestones, customer satisfaction)
• Operating as primary point of contact with vendors for day-to-day interactions on solution delivery
• Working in close collaboration with business team leadership and supplier leadership to ensure success of the program
• Assess and verify solution designs for cost, timing and milestone commitments
• Ensuring compliance and utilization of project management process
• Owning resolution ofproject issues, working with IT Executives, Enterprise Architecture, Business project leads, and Supply/Vendor Management teams as necessary
• Coordination and/or support of systems retirements associated with solution implementation
