Responsibilities
- Lead and evolve technology services to be secure, reliable, and enable people to do their best work
- Own Service Desk, Infrastructure, and IT Training, ensuring smooth day to day service
- Drive continuous improvement and modernisation of the tech estate (Microsoft 365, cloud, AI tools)
- Deliver stable and secure IT services with clear incident, change, and problem management
- Provide strong operational support for ISO 27001, security, and resilience
- Develop a structured IT training approach to boost user confidence and reduce support demand
Requirements
- Proven experience leading IT operations in a professional services or regulated environment
- Strong understanding of ITIL practices (certification desirable)
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, and modern cloud environments
- Experience with information security frameworks (ISO 27001 or similar)
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business outcomes
- Track record of supplier management, service reporting, and stakeholder engagement
- Experience leading and developing teams
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

About the Role
- We’re looking for an experienced IT Operations Manager to lead and evolve our technology services—ensuring they are secure, reliable, and truly enable our people to do their best work.
- The successful candidate will have sufficient technical knowledge to provide direction, challenge suppliers and make informed recommendations, but will not normally be expected to undertake hands on technical change activity as their primary day to day responsibility.

What You Bring
