- Understanding of the Linux command line, user permissions, and file systems.
- Experience managing support for Linux-based applications.
- Familiarity with industry-standard monitoring tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, mentor, and schedule a rotating Linux support engineering team.
- Act as the major incident commander for high-priority application outages.
- Serve as the primary contact for critical overnight and weekend severity-1 events.
- Track, report, and maintain application availability and response-time goals.
- Standardize runbooks, root cause analysis, and escalation workflows.
