The role
The organization is seeking an experienced IT Officer for day-to-day technology operations, user support, system administration, and IT service coordination.
The role supports reliable IT services, responds to technical requests, monitors issues, and coordinates technology improvements.
Key responsibilities
- Provide first- and second-level technical support across business functions.
- Diagnose hardware, software, network, and access-related issues.
- Manage accounts, permissions, devices, and basic configurations.
- Track service requests through resolution and maintain support records.
- Support workplace technology setup, maintenance, updates, backups, and security procedures.
- Coordinate with vendors and identify recurring issues for improvement.
- Prepare IT reports and support technology projects and process enhancements.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Three or more years of relevant IT support, systems administration, or technology operations experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, user support, networks, and business applications.
- Knowledge of access controls, device configuration, troubleshooting, cybersecurity, data protection, backups, and IT best practices.
