Role Overview
The Network Engineer will contribute to a team responsible for the day-to-day operation and monitoring of the Network and project delivery. The focus will be on design, implementation and support of the Business and IT Applications. They will assist in setup and maintenance of production network infrastructure; they will also contribute to the configuration of our Network devices. In addition, there will be a specific focus on the Security review of our environment: • firewall management and firewall rules review, implementation and cleanup, • DNS services implementation and support, • HLB and GSLB services implementation and support. A transition to Software Defined network is ongoing and therefore the global security review will have to integrate this new parameter.
This position requires a broad knowledge of Network Security systems (Palo Alto, Checkpoint), Software Defined Network (CISCO ACI technology, EPG), DNS and GSLB (Infoblox), HLB (F5 Networks) among others. It also involves analytical skills and troubleshooting capability to work with the team members to quickly diagnose and resolve network issues.

Group Technology Services (GTS) plans, builds and runs the global infrastructure of Euroclear, and is additionally responsible for the IT service management to the operating entities of the various Group markets. Group Technology Services operates its IT systems and IT services in such a way that, at an appropriate and benchmarked cost level, it can deliver the agreed levels of service to support the requirements of the business processes, for both normal operations and during disaster recovery.
