Role Description

The IT Manager / Strategy Manager is responsible for leading technology initiatives while supporting the development and execution of business strategies that drive operational excellence, digital transformation, and long term organizational growth.
This role bridges information technology and strategic planning by aligning technology capabilities with business objectives and ensuring the successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing IT strategies, technology roadmaps, and business improvement plans that support organizational priorities.
The role evaluates business needs, identifies technology opportunities, and recommends innovative solutions that improve efficiency, scalability, security, and overall business performance.
The position oversees IT projects, system implementations, and process optimization initiatives while ensuring effective resource planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
It collaborates with cross functional teams to gather business requirements, define project objectives, and translate strategic goals into practical technology solutions.
The role analyzes business performance, operational processes, market trends, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and competitive advantage.
It also prepares strategic reports, business cases, performance dashboards, and recommendations to support executive decision making.
In addition, the role contributes to governance, policy development, technology standards, cybersecurity awareness, and organizational change initiatives while promoting best practices in project management, digital innovation, and business strategy execution.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of information technology management, business strategy, digital transformation, project management, and organizational planning.
Ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
Knowledge of enterprise systems, IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, cybersecurity principles, business process improvement, and technology governance.
Familiarity with enterprise architecture and IT service management concepts is an advantage.
Proficiency in project management methodologies, business analysis, data analysis, reporting tools, spreadsheet applications, and business intelligence platforms.
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem solving skills with the ability to evaluate business challenges, assess technology solutions, and develop actionable recommendations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams, present strategic recommendations, and manage multiple initiatives in a dynamic environment.
Strong organizational skills, adaptability, sound judgment, and a commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and delivering measurable business value through technology and strategic planning.
