Role Overview
Contract IT Manager role for a client of the recruiting employer.
Oversee and optimize global IT infrastructure and manage a team of IT professionals across multiple regions.
Support business continuity and digital transformation through strategic technology management.
Location
- Remote role with work-from-anywhere location policy.
Compensation
- Payout is $60-$75 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.
- Manage IT staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and enforce IT policies, security protocols, and compliance standards.
- Oversee budget planning, procurement, and vendor relationships for IT resources.
- Ensure 24/7 system availability with minimal downtime and rapid incident resolution.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of IT management experience, including team leadership and project oversight.
- Proficiency in enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking.
- Experience with ITIL frameworks, cybersecurity best practices, and compliance regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage cross-functional technical teams.
