IT Manager Platform Engineering & AI Enablement

AI Enablement

• Evaluate AI ideas, prototypes, automations, and user-built tools and move viable solutions into governed production use.
• Support administration, governance, and operational management of AI services including Snowflake Cortex.
• Define security, identity, data protection, monitoring, cost, support, documentation, and change-management requirements for AI solutions.
• Govern Power Platform and citizen-development tools to meet security, data governance, and supportability standards.

Vendors, Security, and Leadership

• Manage technical accountability for strategic SaaS, cloud, website, POS, payment, and platform vendors.
• Embed security-by-design across cloud architecture, APIs, identity, networking, and deployment processes.
• Support identity and access management, SSO, MFA, logging, network segmentation, vulnerability remediation, and audit readiness.
• Provide technical leadership, coaching, mentorship, recruiting support, and engineering standards for IT staff.

Education and Experience

• 8+ years of progressive experience in cloud, infrastructure, platform engineering, DevOps, systems engineering, or solution architecture.
• 3+ years in a technical lead, architect, senior engineer, supervisor, manager, or equivalent leadership role.
• Production experience designing, deploying, and operating AWS and/or Microsoft Azure environments.
• Experience with APIs, integrations, web platforms, networking, identity, security controls, monitoring, and deployment automation.
• Experience operationalizing AI-enabled platforms, data services, automation tools, or business-built technology solutions.

Technical Competencies

• Experience with AWS and Azure services, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, Git workflows, containers, orchestration, networking, and secure architecture.
• Experience with monitoring, observability, incident response, root-cause analysis, SQL, databases, data movement, and data governance.
• Knowledge of responsible AI governance, production readiness, AI lifecycle management, usage monitoring, and operational support models.
• Experience with Snowflake, Snowflake Cortex, Azure OpenAI, Claude, OpenAI APIs, Microsoft Graph, GraphQL, and TypeScript is relevant to the role.

Preferred Certifications

• AWS, Azure, AI, Snowflake, responsible AI, CISSP, CCSP, Security+, ITIL, GitHub Copilot, FinOps, or Kubernetes certifications are preferred.
