IT Manager (IT Systems & Infrastructure)

Role Overview

Compensation and Timing

• The stated salary budget is 55,000 to 75,000 USD per annum.
• The expected start date is immediate.

Systems Administration

• Manage Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, domain controllers, DHCP, and DNS.
• Administer and harden RHEL, CentOS, and Ubuntu servers, including shell scripting.
• Oversee Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, user management, and security.
• Manage business-critical systems, backups, disaster recovery, patching, and performance optimization.

AWS Cloud Technologies

• Lead AWS cloud strategy and governance.
• Deploy and manage AWS services including EC2, Auto Scaling, Elastic Load Balancers, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
• Design hybrid cloud solutions, manage on-premises-to-AWS migrations, and implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Design multi-cloud and disaster recovery strategies and manage AWS security, monitoring, and cost optimization.

Networking and Virtualization

• Design and manage multi-site LAN/WAN networks, routing, VLANs, QoS, segmentation, VPNs, and AWS Direct Connect.
• Administer Cisco routers and switches and Fortinet, Sophos, or pfSense firewalls.
• Deploy network monitoring and capacity planning using tools such as Zabbix, PRTG, and ManageEngine.
• Manage VMware vSphere and Hyper-V environments, including clusters, VM lifecycle, vMotion, Storage vMotion, DRS, and high availability.

Security and Leadership

• Implement endpoint protection, DLP, MDM, identity and access management, vulnerability assessments, and compliance controls.
• Lead incident response, security monitoring, IT automation, CI/CD, and configuration management.
• Develop IT strategies, manage budgets and vendors, communicate with stakeholders, and lead and mentor IT teams.

Experience Requirements

• 10–15 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years in management or senior technical roles.
• MNC or large corporate experience managing complex, multi-site IT operations is mandatory.
• Hands-on expertise across systems administration, AWS cloud, networking, VMware, and complete IT infrastructure management is mandatory.
• International operations experience, particularly in the Middle East or GCC, is preferred.
• Proven success in IT transformation, cloud migrations, and infrastructure upgrades.

Technical Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Required technical knowledge includes Windows Server, Linux, Microsoft 365, AWS services, enterprise networking, VMware, Hyper-V, security, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Required networking knowledge includes TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, IPSec and SSL VPNs, Cisco equipment, firewalls, and monitoring tools.
• Certifications including CCNA, AWS, Microsoft, VMware, security, ITIL, or PMP are strongly preferred.
