Role Overview
Join Group Information Technology Audit to provide IT audit services to Munich Re’s North American entities and Group IT.
The role supports Senior Management through independent assessments of IT systems, governance, compliance, risk management, and internal controls.
The auditor acts as a trusted advisor and applies audit methodology with minimal oversight.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Participate in all audit phases, including planning, scoping, risk identification, testing, reporting, and audit report writing.
- Execute IT and integrated audits covering general controls, IT governance, project lifecycles, system conversions, pre-implementation reviews, and third-party risk.
- Assess IT systems and processes against directives, policies, standards, and industry frameworks.
- Perform risk analysis, identify controls, design testing approaches, evaluate control effectiveness, and identify control gaps.
- Communicate recommendations and conclusions clearly to technical and non-technical management.
- Conduct data analysis to support audit scoping and testing.
- Share knowledge and support training and development for less experienced team members.
