Position Summary
Responsible for leading complex cybersecurity programs and strategic security initiatives across the enterprise. This role drives cross-functional execution, manages security risks and dependencies, coordinates with security, infrastructure, and business teams, and ensures successful delivery of security objectives aligned with organizational priorities, compliance requirements, and risk management goals. The individual operates with significant autonomy and influences decision-making across multiple stakeholder groups..
Security Program Leadership
Lead enterprise cybersecurity programs, including risk remediation, vulnerability management, compliance initiatives, identity security, cloud security, security operations, and governance programs.
Develop and manage integrated program roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, budgets, and resource plans.
Drive execution of board, executive, and regulatory security commitments.
Ensure alignment between security strategy, technology roadmaps, and business objectives.
Risk & Findings Management
Drive end-to-end remediation of security findings, audit observations, penetration testing gaps, and risk register items.
Facilitate prioritization of remediation efforts with Security, Infrastructure, and Business leaders.
Coordinate risk acceptance and exception processes where remediation is not feasible.
Maintain visibility into security risks and provide executive-level reporting on mitigation progres.
Executive Stakeholder Management
Act as a trusted advisor to Security leadership, PMO leadership, and senior business stakeholders.
Prepare executive-ready status reports, dashboards, risk assessments, and decision materials.
Facilitate steering committees, governance reviews, and leadership discussions.
Drive alignment among multiple technical teams, vendors, and business functions.
Program Delivery & Governance
Establish and maintain program governance, RAID logs, action tracking, and decision registers.
Manage interdependencies across Security, Network, Platform & Hosting, EUC, Engineering, and third-party vendors.
Ensure delivery using Agile, SAFe, hybrid, or traditional methodologies as appropriate.
Drive issue resolution and escalation management to maintain delivery commitments.
Compliance & Regulatory Initiatives
Coordinate programs supporting NIST, ISO 27001, CMMC, ITAR, SOX, NIS2, and other regulatory requirements.
Track security control implementation and compliance milestones.
Partner with Governance, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure audit readiness and evidence collection.
Continuous Improvement
Drive process improvements within security planning, risk management, and project delivery practices.
Implement metrics and KPIs to measure cybersecurity program effectiveness.
Promote best practices for governance, reporting, prioritization, and dependency management.
Mentor junior project managers and contribute to PMO standards and methodologies..
Required skills
- Strong experience managing complex IT infrastructure projects across Network, Platform, Hosting, and Cloud
- Expertise in Agile/Scrum and traditional project management methodologies
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow (PPM/ITSM modules preferred)
- Solid understanding of enterprise infrastructure architecture and integration points
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional and multi-vendor environments
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills
Behavioral Competencies
Ability to solve complex problems using multiple data sources and independent judgment
Strong communication and ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus
High ownership and accountability for delivery outcomes
Ability to operate independently with minimal guidance 5+ years of experience developing enterprise automation, integrations, or infrastructure engineering solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5-10 years of experience in IT project/program management, preferably in IT infrastructure domains PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile Scrum certification (preferred)
Nice To Have
Experience in large-scale infrastructure transformation or outsourcing programs (MSP engagements)
Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and hybrid infrastructure environments
Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and enterprise service management practices
