We are looking for a
Hands-On It & Erp Manager
to lead and operate the
IT infrastructure, ERP support, information security, vendor management, and IT–business alignment
for a manufacturing plant in Abu Dhabi.
The ideal candidate combines
strong technical expertise
, any
ERP experience (MS Dynamics, SAP, Oracle)
,
information security awareness
, and
excellent stakeholder management skills
, with proven experience in a
manufacturing or industrial environment
.
1. ERP Ownership & Support
Act as
IT owner of ERP
(Finance, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing).
Ensure
day-to-day stability and performance
of ERP across finance, production, warehouse, and sales processes.
Coordinate and manage:
Incident resolution and root-cause analysis
User support (L1/L2/L3 coordination)
Minor enhancements, configuration changes, and updates
Act as the
primary interface between business users and external implementation/support partners
.
Support ongoing
ERP rollout phases
, integrations (MES, track & trace, tax systems), and future enhancements.
Manage
user access, roles, segregation of duties
, and audit requirements in ERP.
2. IT Infrastructure & Operations
Own and manage
local IT infrastructure
, including:
Network (Lan And Wan And Wi-Fi)
Servers / cloud services (Azure preferred)
End-user devices (PCs, scanners, printers, industrial devices)
Factory floor IT components (where applicable)
Ensure
high availability
of systems supporting production, warehousing, and logistics.
Manage backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
3. Information Security & Compliance
Act as the
local Information Security responsible person
for the plant.
Implement and enforce
IT security policies
, including:
Access control
Endpoint security
Network security
Data protection and backup
Ensure compliance with:
Corporate IT security standards
Local regulatory requirements in the UAE
Audit requirements (internal/external)
Coordinate security assessments, vulnerability remediation, and incident response.
Support secure integration with third-party systems (track & trace providers, government portals, distributors).
Manage
IT vendors and service providers
, including:
Microsoft Partners (Dynamics 365)
Infrastructure providers
Telecom and connectivity vendors
Specialized in track & trace / serialization solutions
Own vendor relationships, including:
Contract negotiations and renewals
SLA definition and monitoring
Cost control and budget tracking
Ensure vendors deliver
on time, within scope, and according to quality and security requirements
.
5. Business Engagement & Process Improvement
Act as a
trusted IT business partner
for:
Sales & Distribution
Translate business requirements into
IT/ERP solutions
.
Identify opportunities to:
Improve operational efficiency
Reduce manual work
Improve data quality and reporting
Support change management, user adoption, and training activities.
Professional Experience
5–7+ years of experience
in IT roles, preferably in
manufacturing, FMCG, industrial, or regulated industries
.
2+ years of experience with any ERP
(Finance and/or Supply Chain Management).
Experience Supporting
ERP systems in a production/manufacturing environment
.
Experience Working With
external implementation partners and managed service providers
.
Middle East And Gcc
is a strong advantage.
Experience In
regulated industries
(excise goods, food & beverage, tobacco, chemicals) is highly desirable.
Erp & Business Systems
Strong functional understanding of:
Inventory & Warehouse Management
Manufacturing processes (BOM, production orders, shop floor execution)
User/security role management
Configuration and basic customization
Integration concepts (APIs, middleware, Azure Logic Apps)
Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) – good working knowledge.
Infrastructure & Cloud
Networking basics (firewalls, VPN, segmentation).
Windows Server / Active Directory / Entra ID.
End-user and industrial IT devices support.
Information Security
Solid understanding of:
Access management
Endpoint and network security
Backup & disaster recovery
Security incident management
Strong
ownership mindset
and accountability.
Ability to operate in a
hands-on role
, not only managerial.
Excellent
communication skills
— able to speak both “IT” and “business”.
Strong
stakeholder management
and conflict resolution skills.

Languages
English – fluent (mandatory)

Manufacturing Execution Systems (Mes)
Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) or similar.
