About the Role
Space Built Technical Services LLC in Dubai is seeking an IT/ELV Technician with 2-5 years of experience in structured cabling, CCTV, and low current systems. The role involves installing, testing, and troubleshooting ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, and network infrastructure.

Responsibilities
- Install, test, and commission structured cabling systems, including Cat6/Cat6A, fiber optic cables, patch panels, and data outlets
- Install and terminate network, telephone, and fiber optic cables
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot CCTV surveillance systems, including IP and analog cameras, NVRs, and DVRs
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot ELV and low current systems: CCTV, Access Control, Video Intercom, Wi Fi & Network, PA, SMATV/CATV, Structured Cabling
- Perform cable routing, dressing, labeling, and cable management in accordance with industry standards
- Conduct cable testing and certification using appropriate testing equipment
- Read and interpret technical drawings, network layouts, and shop drawings
- Diagnose and resolve faults in network and ELV systems
- Coordinate with project engineers and site supervisors to ensure timely project completion
- Ensure all installations comply with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations
Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in structured cabling, low current, or ELV systems
- Hands on experience in CCTV installation, configuration, and cable termination
- Good knowledge of structured cabling standards, including Cat6, Cat6A, and Fiber Optic
- Experience with RJ45 termination, patch panel termination, and fiber optic splicing is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts, including IP addressing, switches, routers, and VLANs, is preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and installation layouts
- Experience using cable testers and troubleshooting equipment
- Valid UAE driving license is an advantage
- Immediate joiners are preferred
