About the Role

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree; Master's degree in Information Technology or Business Administration preferred
- Minimum 8 years working experience, 5 years in a relevant supervisory position
- ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills
- Strong Knowledge of the healthcare IT industry
- Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT and EMR systems

Job Summary
- To Oversee all technology operations and evaluating them according to established goals. Devising and establishing IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management.
Job Responsibilities 1
- Establish the short and long term strategy for the IT, translate it into business plans with objectives and performance indicators and report on the progress of activities against those plans to measure success to support the achievement of PIH’s strategic objectives.
- Build and lead a motivated, engaged, and competent manpower throughout the IT, by setting priorities and objectives, managing performance, and providing ongoing feedback and coaching to improve performance.
- Recommend an optimum organization structure for the IT in coordination with the superior and the Human Resources, to ensure efficient and effective workflow of operational processes and optimal utilization of resources.
- Collaborate with Human Resources in the development of the IT’s manpower plan to ensure timely and best of class delivery of tasks.
- Prepare and recommend the IT’s budget in alignment to the respective annual business plan and ensure proper cascading into departmental budgets.

- Work to implement the strategic vision, goals, philosophy, and direction of the enterprise by providing IT services, support and solutions and maintains focus on achieving these goals and objectives.
- Utilize technology to analyze and develop statistical measures of IT’s performance metrics, reports, and programs.
- Direct and manage the selection and implementation of EMR, PACS, and other healthcare systems, including writing RFP, evaluate, select, award, implement and train.
- Oversees integration between all systems in hospital, ensuing smooth data transition between clinical applications and business applications.
- Oversee all technology operations (e.g., network security) and evaluate them according to established goals.
Job Knowledge & Skills
- Strong Knowledge of the healthcare IT industry.
- Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT and EMR systems and their specifications.
- Experience in controlling information technology budget.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Outstanding communication abilities.
- ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
Job Experience
- Minimum 8 years working experience, 5 years in a relevant supervisory position, 2 years GCC experience is a plus
