IT & Digital Transformation Manager

Role Summary

Work Location

• The role is based in Doha, Qatar.
• Work location is in person.

Technology and Infrastructure

• Develop and execute the group's IT strategy and align technology initiatives with business objectives.
• Manage annual IT budgets, technology roadmaps, and digital transformation initiatives across business units.
• Oversee networks, servers, cloud environments, telecommunications, and end-user computing.
• Ensure high availability of critical systems and standardize infrastructure across international offices.
• Manage backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity.

Cybersecurity and Applications

• Develop cybersecurity policies and oversee endpoint protection, firewalls, identity management, and access control.
• Coordinate security awareness training, penetration testing, vulnerability management, and cyber incident response.
• Manage and optimize Microsoft 365, ERP, document management, construction project management, CRM, and business intelligence platforms.

Construction Technology and AI

• Support BIM workflows, digital project controls, mobile field reporting, reality capture, IoT, smart construction, and digital QA/QC systems.
• Identify opportunities for AI, document automation, knowledge management, proposal generation, contract analysis, predictive reporting, AI assistants, and workflow automation.

Vendors, Governance, and Team

• Manage external IT service providers, negotiate software and hardware contracts, evaluate vendors, and monitor SLAs and performance.
• Maintain IT policies, cybersecurity, privacy, data protection, licensing compliance, and technology governance frameworks.
• Lead internal IT personnel, coordinate external consultants, and mentor junior staff.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or Engineering.
• 8-15 years of progressive IT experience and at least five years in a leadership position.
• Experience supporting international operations.
• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, with Azure preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, networking, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and ERP implementation and administration.
• Excellent project management and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• Construction or engineering industry experience is preferred.
• BIM, construction technology, AI implementation, ISO 27001, Azure certifications, Cisco certifications, VMware or Hyper-V, Power BI, Microsoft Power Platform, and SharePoint Online are preferred.
• Experience with Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Oracle Primavera P6, or similar construction platforms is preferred.
• Arabic language ability is preferred.
