Position Overview
Applied Technology and Management, a Geosyntec company, is seeking an experienced Desktop Support Technician in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The role supports company employees by identifying and resolving technology problems while following established standards, procedures, security controls, and risk management practices.
The position supports endpoint technologies, company systems, networks, and customer service operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform desktop administration and client support for endpoint assembly, installation, imaging, configuration, optimization, maintenance, repair, testing, and upgrades.
- Image computers using SCCM and create bootable USB drives.
- Troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops, handheld or wireless devices, printers, copiers, and related computing technologies.
- Support intermediate to advanced Office 365 services.
- Administer security controls, governance, compliance, and data loss prevention for enterprise computing assets.
- Manage and prioritize incoming incidents and service management requests, escalating them when appropriate.
- Monitor, document, and resolve complex customer needs and provide updates on progress, risks, business impact, resources, timing, and overruns.
- Compose technical documentation and collaborate with all IT operating segments as needed.
