Work Location and Schedule
- Work location is Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
- The listed schedule is 37.5 hours.
Compensation
- The stated base pay range is $69,700–$98,400 CAD.
- The role may be eligible for discretionary variable compensation based on business and individual performance.
Job Description
Provide data analysis and data management functions including modeling, SQL, data quality, profiling, ETL, metadata, lineage, and reporting.
Work under general guidance to design, develop, and support data management solutions for the bank.
Key Accountabilities
- Assess data management requirements and maintain knowledge of data across platforms, applications, and upstream sources.
- Develop data models, implement ETL jobs, build BI and SQL reports, and support data issue resolution.
- Capture metadata and lineage, manage data dictionaries and catalogs, and maintain compliance with enterprise data standards.
- Gather, validate, profile, and map system data for data warehouses, reporting, and analytical business needs.
- Investigate data integrity issues, analyze complex data patterns, and recommend solutions with development teams.
- Support data governance, privacy, security, access controls, testing, project delivery, and business user enablement.
- Collaborate with technology teams and business partners while managing priorities, communication, and knowledge transfer.
Experience and Education
- An undergraduate degree or technical certificate is required.
- Three to five years of relevant experience is required.
- Strong Databricks pipeline experience, including Databricks Genie for conversational AI and BI solutions, is required.
- Experience administering Power BI and Fabric tenants, capacities, workspaces, governance, and security models is required.
- The role requires the ability to teach and mentor diverse audiences and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Enterprise Data and Analytics or BI Center of Excellence experience is preferred.
