About the Role
Sonepar Canada seeks an IT Business Analyst to gather and document business requirements for IT projects, facilitate alignment across operating companies, and support system configuration.

Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, processes, and system specifications for IT projects across multiple business functions
- Facilitate alignment of requirements and processes across multiple operating companies
- Support stakeholders in understanding and adapting to changes resulting from IT projects
- Communicate key insights, findings, and recommendations to project teams
- Create and validate functional specifications, including systems design elements such as data migration rules, business rules, wireframes, and test scenarios
- Participate in design sessions and collaborate with development teams to define solutions
- Identify, document, and report technical issues and system deficiencies; recommend improvements
- Define reporting and alerting requirements in collaboration with the IT Project Manager
- Design, document, and maintain system processes; assist with ERP, WMS, and other business system configuration
- Provide level 2 customer support and assist in troubleshooting and testing software modifications
- Develop and execute application test scripts; ensure anomalies are addressed and changes are documented
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, Quality Assurance, or a related field
- Strong communication skills in English and French
- Experience with data analysis, software development, and B2B environments
- Solid organizational and time management skills

Requirements
