Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory environments
- Manage and support Linux servers
- Plan and execute IT infrastructure deployments, upgrades, migrations, and system improvements
- Administer and maintain VMware and/or Microsoft Hyper V virtualization environments
- Manage backup, restoration, replication, and disaster recovery processes using enterprise backup solutions
- Monitor and maintain server, storage, virtualization, and overall IT infrastructure health
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, with a focus on Cisco technologies
- Manage IT assets throughout their lifecycle, including procurement, inventory, and disposal
- Coordinate with vendors for procurement, support, maintenance, and issue resolution
- Ensure system documentation is maintained and updated
- Support IT security initiatives and follow information security best practices
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of IT experience in the UAE
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Domain Administration
- Moderate hands on experience with Linux server administration
- Hands on experience with VMware and/or Microsoft Hyper V administration
- Moderate knowledge of Cisco networking, including switching, routing, and troubleshooting
- Experience managing IT infrastructure projects
- Hands on experience with backup and replication solutions (e.g., Veeam, Acronis, Commvault, Veritas)
- Experience in IT Asset Management and inventory control
- Experience working with IT vendors and service providers
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Overview
- We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled IT Administrator (L2) to join our IT team in Abu Dhabi.
- The ideal candidate should have strong infrastructure administration experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to manage enterprise IT environments while ensuring high availability and security.
