Role Description

  • The ISO IMS Lead Auditor is a full time, on site role based in Doha, Qatar, responsible for leading audits and maintaining integrated management systems in line with relevant ISO standards.
  • The role involves planning, conducting, and reporting internal and external audits, including gap analyses and compliance assessments for quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety management systems.
  • The auditor will collaborate with clients to design, implement, and improve IMS documentation, processes, and controls; provide guidance on corrective and preventive actions; and support certification and surveillance audits.
  • Day to day activities include reviewing policies and procedures, assessing operational risk, delivering training and awareness sessions, and preparing clear audit reports and improvement recommendations.
  • The role also requires close coordination with QAC’s consulting and technical teams to ensure consistent service delivery and strong client relationships.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong ISO auditing and IMS skills, including experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or related standards, and competence in planning and leading integrated audits.
  • Candidates should possess management system development skills, including drafting and reviewing policies, procedures, process maps, and documentation to support certification and continual improvement.
  • Candidates should possess analytical and problem solving skills, including conducting gap analyses, root cause analysis, risk assessment, and recommending pragmatic corrective and preventive actions.
  • Candidates should possess communication and collaboration skills, including clear report writing, stakeholder engagement, training delivery, and the ability to work effectively with cross functional teams and clients.
  • Candidates should possess organizational and time management skills, including planning audit programs, managing multiple engagements, and meeting deadlines with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Lead Auditor certification or formal training in relevant ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) is highly beneficial.
  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, quality management, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience, is preferred.
  • Experience working with consulting firms or in a client facing role, ideally in the Gulf region, and familiarity with ISO certification processes
