An established British curriculum school in Dubai is seeking an exceptional Islamic Studies Teacher – Arab Students to join its team for the 2026–2027 academic year.
We are looking for an outstanding educator who is passionate about inspiring students, promoting Islamic values, and delivering high quality teaching.

Deliver engaging and effective Islamic Studies lessons for Arab students in accordance with the UAE Ministry of Education curriculum and KHDA expectations.
Plan, deliver, and evaluate differentiated lessons that challenge and support all learners.
Monitor student progress using a range of assessment strategies and implement timely interventions to improve outcomes.
Prepare students effectively for internal and Ministry of Education assessments.
Promote Islamic values, character education, and positive student behaviour through high quality classroom practice.
Integrate educational technology and innovative teaching approaches to enhance learning.
Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment moderation, and departmental quality assurance.
Support school improvement initiatives and contribute positively towards inspection readiness.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leaders to ensure the success and wellbeing of every student.
Participate fully in professional development, enrichment activities, and wider school life.
Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding, professionalism, and ethical conduct.

Bachelor's degree in Islamic Studies, Sharia, or a closely related discipline.
Recognised teaching qualification.
Valid UAE Teaching Licence or eligibility to obtain one.
Native or fluent Arabic speaker with good written and spoken English.
Proven experience teaching Islamic Studies to Arab students using the UAE Ministry of Education curriculum.
Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong understanding of assessment for learning and data informed teaching.
Confidence in using educational technology to enrich teaching and learning.

Experience teaching within a British curriculum school.
Previous teaching experience in the UAE.
Familiarity with KHDA quality standards and inspection expectations.
Experience preparing students for Ministry of Education assessments.
A track record of improving student attainment and progress.
Experience contributing to curriculum development, departmental initiatives, and whole school improvement.
