Responsibilities
- Oversee operation and maintenance of irrigation systems
- Design irrigation systems including sprinkler, drip, and subsurface networks
- Prepare irrigation layouts, hydraulic calculations, and technical drawings
- Review project specifications, drawings, and contract requirements
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of irrigation systems
- Conduct site surveys and assess water supply requirements
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements
- Troubleshoot technical issues with pumps, pipelines, valves, and controllers
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams
- Prepare technical reports, method statements, material submittals, and as built drawings
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and resource utilization
Requirements
- Experience in irrigation system design and maintenance
- Ability to prepare irrigation layouts and hydraulic calculations
- Knowledge of sprinkler, drip, and subsurface irrigation networks
- Supervisory experience in installation and commissioning
- Strong troubleshooting skills for pumps, pipelines, valves, and controllers
- Ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors
- Proficiency in technical reports, method statements, and as built drawings
