Key Responsibilities
- Support robotic pipe handling system operations during installation, commissioning, rig-up, drilling, and rig-down operations.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on robotic equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues in real-time.
- Interface with rig crews and automation engineers to ensure optimal system performance.
- Monitor system diagnostics and telemetry for anomalies and performance metrics.
- Document maintenance activities, system performance, and incident reports.
- Train rig personnel on robotic system operation and safety protocols.
- Adhere to all HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) standards and company policies.
Certifications (Preferred)
H2S Awareness
RigPass or equivalent safety training
First Aid/CPR
OEM-specific robotic system training
Tools & Technologies
Robotic pipe handling systems (e.g., NOV, Huisman, Drillmec)
SCADA/HMI interfaces
Diagnostic software and telemetry systems
Hydraulic and electrical testing equipment
Work Conditions
Exposure to extreme weather, high noise levels, and heavy machinery
Work at heights
Onshore and offshore rig environments
