Role Overview
The IoT Software Developer works within the Device Engineering Team on software for industrial machines, edge devices, and cloud platforms.
The role develops, maintains, and supports software that collects machine data, communicates securely with cloud platforms, and enables device management at scale.
Responsibilities
- Implement software components from designs, specifications, and guidance.
- Develop reliable, maintainable, and secure code within the assigned scope.
- Translate requirements into working software aligned with sprint goals.
- Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and follow quality and security practices.
- Troubleshoot development and production issues and support corrective and evolutive maintenance.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, Product Owners, and Tech Leads while building technical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in C# and the .NET platform.
- Working knowledge of Python or another scripting language.
- Strong understanding of Test-Driven Development.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Git repositories, and CI/CD pipelines.
