Project Overview
The client is expanding smart household appliance product lines through a global program involving embedded software, cloud infrastructure, and mobile applications.
The iOS Developer will build and maintain applications for phones and tablets and integrate them with back-end services and connected devices.
Responsibilities
- Develop iOS features that connect, configure, and control connected household devices.
- Collaborate with firmware, embedded, cloud, API, UX/UI, QA, and test-automation teams.
- Maintain application modules, flows, connectivity layers, UI, and state management.
- Ensure code quality, testability, performance, maintainability, and user experience quality.
- Onboard device discovery, Bluetooth or WiFi pairing, firmware updates, and cloud synchronization.
- Diagnose connectivity, network, memory, and performance issues.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture improvements.
- Mentor more junior team members and support the full mobile app lifecycle.
- Advocate unit testing, UI testing, CI, modular design, and version-control best practices.
Must-Have Skills
- 5+ years of native iOS development experience using Swift.
