About the Role
- As Investment Director, you will serve as the driving force behind our real estate investment strategy.
- You will lead the identification and evaluation of investment opportunities, oversee portfolio performance, and provide financial intelligence to senior leadership.
What You Will Do
- Lead the end to end evaluation of real estate investment opportunities, from initial screening through to deal execution and portfolio integration.
- Develop and oversee comprehensive feasibility studies, financial models, and investment analyses to support strategic decision making.
- Monitor and manage the performance of the real estate investment portfolio, ensuring all assets are tracking toward their financial targets.
- Prepare and present high quality investment recommendations, performance reports, and strategic insights to senior leadership and executive management.
- Drive negotiations with investors, partners, developers, and relevant stakeholders to secure favorable terms and long term value.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and legal frameworks governing real estate investment and development.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the investment team, fostering a high performance culture built on analytical rigor and strategic thinking.
What We Are Looking For
- +20 years of progressive, hands on experience in investment management within the real estate development and investment sector.
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Investment, or an equivalent discipline is required; professional certifications such as CFA or CMA are strongly preferred.
- Proven track record in evaluating and pursuing investment opportunities, conducting rigorous feasibility studies, and delivering comprehensive financial analyses.
- Strong command of financial modelling, with the ability to critically assess investment risks, returns, and performance metrics.
- Demonstrated success in managing and growing real estate investment portfolios, with a consistent record of achieving and exceeding performance targets.
- Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, compelling investment recommendations and executive level reports.
- Exceptional negotiation capabilities and a well established ability to build and sustain relationships with investors, strategic partners, and key stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of the regulatory frameworks, policies, and compliance requirements governing real estate investment and development.
