Responsibilities
- Monitor portfolio performance, risk metrics, and asset allocation across multiple asset classes
- Assist in preparation of Investment Committee presentations, quarterly reports, and portfolio dashboards
- Maintain accurate investment records and ensure integrity of portfolio management data
- Support implementation and enhancement of portfolio reporting systems and automation tools
- Conduct investment research and support due diligence on opportunities across public equities, private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, private credit, real estate, and other alternative investments
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, including valuation and LBO models
- Perform industry, company, and market research to support investment recommendations
- Prepare investment memoranda and analytical reports for senior investment professionals
- Monitor existing investments, review quarterly reports, and participate in meetings with investment managers and portfolio company management teams
- Coordinate capital calls, distributions, subscriptions, and fund documentation with custodians, administrators, and external service providers
- Support legal, compliance, and operational processes relating to new investments and ongoing portfolio management
- Assist in evaluating and implementing investment technology, reporting, and data management tools
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related discipline
- CFA, CAIA, ACA or progress towards professional qualification advantageous
- Approximately 3 5 years experience in investment management, private equity, investment banking, management consulting, family office, endowment, or institutional investment environment
- Excellent financial modelling and advanced Excel skills including LBO modelling
- Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities with experience evaluating investments across multiple asset classes
- Experience in real estate investing advantageous
- Strong experience conducting investment fund manager due diligence and manager selection
- Experience using Bloomberg, Addepar, FactSet, or similar investment platforms beneficial
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High levels of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Self motivated, proactive, and comfortable working within a lean, high performing investment team

Position Summary
- Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail oriented Investment Associate to support the investment team in managing and monitoring a diversified global portfolio.

Key Responsibilities Portfolio Monitoring & Reporting

Key Responsibilities Investment Research & Analysis
- Conduct investment research and support due diligence on opportunities across public equities, private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, private credit, real estate, and other alternative investments.

- Perform industry, company, and market research to support investment recommendations.

Key Responsibilities Operational Support

- Maintain accurate investment pipeline tracking and transaction status updates.
Key Responsibilities Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain relationships with external investment managers, advisors, banks, and service providers.
- Maintain CRM records and assist with coordination of investment meetings, conferences, and due diligence sessions.
- Prepare meeting materials, briefing notes, and summaries of investment manager interactions.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- CFA, CAIA, ACA or progress towards a professional qualification would be advantageous.
- Approximately 3–5 years' experience within investment management, private equity, investment banking, management consulting, a family office, endowment, or institutional investment environment.
