Role Description

  • The Investment Analyst / Financial Analyst is responsible for conducting financial analysis, evaluating investment opportunities, and delivering data driven insights that support strategic business and investment decisions.
  • This role analyzes financial performance, market trends, and economic conditions to assist in financial planning, investment evaluation, forecasting, and overall business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, validate, and analyze financial data from various sources, including financial statements, market reports, and industry research.
  • Develop financial models, prepare forecasts, perform valuation analyses, and evaluate the financial performance of companies, projects, or investment opportunities.
  • Prepare financial reports, investment memorandums, dashboards, presentations, and executive summaries.
  • Conduct industry research, competitor benchmarking, market analysis, and economic monitoring.
  • Support budgeting, financial planning, profitability analysis, portfolio monitoring, and risk assessment.
  • Contribute to due diligence activities, scenario analysis, and continuous enhancement of financial models.
  • Collaborate with finance, investment, strategy, and senior management teams.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of corporate finance, financial analysis, investment principles, financial reporting, valuation methodologies, and capital markets.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, spreadsheet applications, financial reporting tools, and data analysis software.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, portfolio evaluation, risk assessment, financial ratios, discounted cash flow analysis, and investment performance measurement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and ability to manage multiple analytical projects.
