Audeo Ventures is an early-stage venture capital firm investing in software companies across the United States and Latin America.
The firm manages more than $350 million across two funds and co-investment vehicles.
The role works directly with the two founding partners, with no investment committee beyond them.
The Role
Work begins once a company enters the pipeline and covers analysis that determines whether Audeo Ventures invests.
Diligence typically runs for two to four weeks, with multiple companies at different stages simultaneously.
The role requires managing concurrent processes without reducing quality.
Responsibilities
- Run diligence, including customer, reference, and expert calls.
- Build financial models, run scenario and sensitivity analysis, and analyze cap tables, dilution, and future-round returns.
- Write investment memos and present them to partners at preliminary and final investment committees.
- Conduct market and competitor research, market sizing, and thesis work across fintech, enterprise software, AI, and adjacent sectors.
- Build and improve diligence and research workflows using AI tools.
- Screen inbound opportunities against investment criteria and prepare selected opportunities for further review.
- Support execution through closing with counsel on documentation and closing checklists.
- Monitor portfolio companies, collect KPIs from founders, track performance, and flag issues.
- Draft quarterly reporting updates for limited partners with Investor Relations and Operations.
Requirements
- At least two years in a Tier 1 investment banking or private equity firm.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, economics, engineering, mathematics, computer science, or a related field from a leading university.
- Ability to build financial models from a blank sheet, structure scenarios, and explain the drivers behind outputs.
- Clear written work and ability to present investment analysis directly to partners.
- Demonstrable proficiency with AI tools applied to research and diligence.
- Judgment and confidence to form an investment view and put it forward.
- Ideally based in the UAE and already holding a work-permitting visa; assistance may be available.
Schedule and Workplace
- The role is based in the Dubai office through the working day, five days a week.
- Some calls with United States companies, customers, and references will occur in the evening Dubai time and may be taken from home.
Compensation
- Compensation is competitive and based on previous experience, with standard benefits.
- Participation in the funds through carried interest is available at this level.
Trajectory
The role provides direct exposure to partners, founders, transactions, and portfolio companies.
There is a path from this position to Associate, with a preference for internal promotion.
