We are looking for an experienced investigative professional to join us as an Investigative Trainer, supporting the design, development and delivery of high-quality investigative training across the Force.
You'll lead on training programmes at PIP 2 level and above, ensuring learning remains current, operationally relevant and aligned with legislation, College of Policing guidance and professional standards. You'll also work as part of the wider Investigative Training team, supporting a broader portfolio of courses and responding to emerging Force learning needs. This is an opportunity to use your investigative experience in a different way - developing others, sharing your expertise and helping ensure our people have the knowledge, confidence and skills they need to perform effectively.
You'll have a strong operational investigative background at PIP 2 level or above, with the knowledge and experience to confidently support the development of others. You'll be able to translate complex investigative legislation, practice and procedures into clear engaging learning, while creating an inclusive environment where learners can build their confidence and competence.

Medical: Appointment to this role will be dependent upon you successfully passing medical checks, which may if required include a drugs and hearing test.
