Role Overview
The Investigative Analyst conducts investigative research and public-record analysis for background screening, due diligence, and related investigations.
The role involves gathering data, reviewing intelligence gaps, preparing case files, and completing investigation and reporting requirements.
Job Responsibilities
- Gather intelligence through field observation, confidential sources, and public records.
- Maintain relationships with government agencies that provide public information.
- Analyze research results and identify red flags involving legal, employment, sanctions, media, and qualification records.
- Prepare objective reports on the background, legitimacy, and reputation of companies, principals, and individuals.
- Manage multiple cases, track progress, complete follow-up actions, and coordinate with international teams and vendors.
- Maintain supporting documents and follow current and prospective ISO standards, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Media, Journalism, Law, International Relations, International Affairs, or a related field.
- At least 1–3 years of relevant experience.
- Eligibility to visit courts and police authorities to conduct research.
