Responsibilities
- Assist in cycle count activities on site, including data entry, log report maintenance, and supporting inventory accuracy processes
- Support off site warehouse (OSW) physical inventory counts by performing data entry, reporting, and ensuring accurate documentation of results
- Investigate, review, and reconcile finished goods inventory discrepancies across all locations, ensuring corrective actions are identified and resolved through proper authorization channels
- Manage finished goods and lower level inventory movements, including coordinating shipments with receiving and production departments and maintaining accurate records in the ERP system
- Create and maintain product tags and ensure accurate posting of inventory transactions within the ERP system
- Process warehouse inbound and outbound documentation, including purchase orders and related shipping records, ensuring completeness and accuracy
- Support product recall activities (mock and actual) by assisting with traceability, data collection, and cross functional coordination
- Process inventory system requests, including WIR submissions, rework requests, and lab dispositions, ensuring timely follow up through to resolution
- Perform inventory adjustments, movements, and reclassifications while maintaining compliance with ISO standards and internal audit requirements
- Maintain accurate inventory procedures and documentation, provide departmental coverage and cross training support, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department
Requirements
- Post secondary education or certification with a focus in Inventory Control, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in inventory management within a manufacturing environment
- 3+ years of experience in transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting functions
- 2+ years of experience in a role that required strong attention to detail with accurate data entry, reconciliation, and record management skills
- 2+ years of experience in a role that required excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience collaborating effectively across departments
- Experience using Power BI or other data analytics tools is considered an asset

Overview
- Winpak is seeking an Inventory Support Specialist based in Winnipeg, Manitoba to support our Traffic Team.
- As part of the Traffic Team, the Inventory Support Coordinator reports to the Traffic Supervisor and supports the Inventory Coordinator in daily transportation, warehouse, and order processing activities.
- This role is responsible for ensuring efficient operations, accurate inventory records, and exceptional customer service by working closely with internal departments, off site warehouses, and transportation providers.
