Job Overview
The role supports daily warehouse operations as a Warehouse and Inventory Assistant.
The position involves receiving, storing, handling, counting, and preparing goods for dispatch.
The role is responsible for accurate inventory records and a clean, safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments and materials.
- Check goods for quantity, quality, and visible damage.
- Label, store, and organize products according to company standards.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts.
- Identify discrepancies and assist with inventory reconciliation.
- Update inventory records in the ERP, WMS, or inventory system.
- Pick, prepare, pack, and stage goods for dispatch.
- Assist with vehicle loading and unloading alongside drivers and dispatch staff.
- Report damaged, expired, missing, or misplaced items to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Assist with inventory audits and stock verification.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety, and orderliness.
- Follow safety procedures and use warehouse equipment properly.
