About the Role

Responsibilities
- Oversee receipt, inspection, and proper storage of construction materials delivered to the site
- Maintain accurate, real time inventory records for all materials and equipment stored at the site
- Issue construction materials and tools to site teams in accordance with approved material requisitions and work schedules
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and cycle counts to reconcile actual inventory with recorded balances
- Coordinate closely with the Store Keeper to organize materials within the store for optimal accessibility and safety
- Monitor material consumption patterns and provide timely reports to site management
- Ensure proper labelling, handling, and storage of materials to prevent damage, theft, or deterioration
- Collaborate with site engineers and procurement teams to track material deliveries
- Manage return of surplus or damaged materials in coordination with procurement and head office inventory teams
- Support project progress by ensuring uninterrupted availability of critical materials
- Maintain clear documentation including delivery challans, material issue vouchers, stock movement reports, and inventory reconciliation records
- Assist in periodic internal and external audits related to site inventory control
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
- 5 or more years of inventory control or material management experience in building construction or contracting companies
- Proficient in inventory management software (ERP systems preferred, e.g., Oracle, SAP)

Qualifications and Experience
