Role Overview
The Inventory Helper supports receiving, stocking, inventory control, vendor coordination, packing, shipping, and delivery preparation.
Inventory and Stock Duties
- Count, sort, and verify incoming articles against requisitions, shipping notices, or invoices.
- Place articles on sales-floor shelves or in the storeroom and replenish, rotate, and organize merchandise.
- Check inventory periodically, identify reordering needs, requisition standard stock within limits, and report fast-moving items.
- Place or change price tags and label shelves to identify stock.
- Record inventory changes, mark-ups, and markdowns according to established procedures.
Orders and Dispatch
- Contact vendors for shipping status information on regular or special orders.
- Pack and ship packages using boxes, packing materials, and sealing tape.
- Gather requisitioned supplies or merchandise and prepare items for delivery or pickup.
- Assist in locating needed merchandise, materials, or supplies.
Experience Requirement
- At least one year of Inventory Helper experience is required.
Work Location
- Work is in person.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 2,500 per month.
