Role Overview
The Inventory Controller will manage physical stock counting, ERP-based inventory monitoring, variance analysis, and loss-prevention activities across retail stores and warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cyclic, periodic, and perpetual inventory counts.
- Conduct physical stock counts using PDT scanners and manual verification.
- Download scanned and ERP data to prepare daily and periodic stock count reports.
- Monitor GRN, transfers, adjustments, RTV, write-offs, and other inventory movements in ERP.
- Prepare and analyse stock variance reports and identify reasons for stock loss.
- Support loss-prevention activities, including CCTV review and theft and fraud investigation.
- Maintain documentation of inventory transactions, damaged inventory, and stolen inventory.
- Coordinate with Buyers, Store Teams, and Warehouse Teams on stock clarifications and discrepancies.
- Manage and verify inventory handovers for store-level staff and ensure reconciliation during transitions.
Skills and Requirements
- At least 5 years of inventory control experience in retail or warehouse operations.
- Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.
- Knowledge of inventory software is preferred, including Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Physically fit and able to lift 10 kg.
- Willingness to work night shifts and multi-shift operations.
- Strong communication skills for coordination with Buyers, Store Teams, and Warehouse Teams.
Compensation
- The pay is AED 4,000 to AED 4,500 per month.
